Slow start dooms Whittier

Whittier Tech made the long trip to Randolph and the drive hurt the Wildcats, who started slowly and fell 20-0.
"Actually had a strong second half," said coach Kevin Bradley, whose club shut out the high-powered hosts after halftime. "We really toughened up against a quality offense, and that was good to see."
Shamir Mejia and Marcus Cellamare led the charge. Offensively, Shane Mambro paced Whittier, carrying 10 times for 72 yards.
