Central Catholic and Chelmsford volleyball went the distance in Tuesday's Division 1 North Semifinal, but Chelmsford came away with the tight 3-2 win. Ashley Dykeman led the Raiders with 18 kills, Katherine Antczak had 51 assists and Elise Flammia had 15 service points and 38 digs.

The Central Catholic volleyball team dominated Peabody in the first set and never looked back, upsetting the No. 2 seed for a 3-0 win. Hallie Dunn led the Raiders with nine kills, and Katherine Antczak had 25 assists.

Ashley Dykman scored team-highs in kills (15), aces (5) and digs (12) as No. 10 Central Catholic outlasted No. 7 Masconomet 25-23, 25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 15-11 in the Division 1 North first round. The Raiders travel to No. 2 Peabody on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Andover volleyball team finished the regular season undefeated for the second time in three years, sweeping Central Catholic to finish at 19-0. Wyllie Boughton led in kills (13 and service points (15) while McKenzie Kennedy had a whopping 37 assists and also led the team in digs with 17.

The North Andover volleyball team came from behind to beat Central in a tight 3-2 thriller, just days after Central nearly upset state powerhouse Barnstable. Catherine Flaherty led the Knights with 11 kills, and Jillian Boyle had 16 digs and five aces.

Emma Geary had 10 kills and Hallie Dunn added 12 service points as Central Catholic pushed powerhouse Barnstable to the limit before falling 25-14, 18-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-13.
