After a slow first half, Matt Moody (7 goals on the day) owned the second half and North Andover dumped Waltham, 16-9, in a Division 1 North first round game.

"It just started to click for him," said coach Ryan Connolly. "And our defense, led by Adam Carito, Joe Samuelman, Jake Manning and Matt Cho, has been great all year and was again."

 North Andover scored seven goals in the first period and cruised past Woburn 15-9. Matt Moody scored four goals for the Knights (15-5) and Drew Guisinger had three goals and an assist.

North Andover's boys lacrosse team played Billerica into OT for the second time this year, but this time fell short, 13-12. Nick Querci and Steve Canale both had three goals for the Knights (13-4). Billerica, which rallied from a 10-7 deficit in the fourth quarter, improved to 14-3. 

Nick Querci scored three goals and assisted on three others as North Andover shook off its upset loss on Monday to down Chelmsford 11-5.

Alex Parent scored five goals to lead Central Catholic to an 11-8 upset victory over red hot North Andover. Eric Robbins added three goals and an assist for the Raiders (8-5).

Matt Moody and Steve Canale combined for goals, but it wasn't enough as Dover-Sherborn defeated North Andover 14-12 in the second round of the Coaches Cup Challenge. The Knights will play Concord at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln-Sudbury High School for third place.
