Londonderry Lancers Girls Basketball '14-'15

Defense carries Lancers

 

Londonderry's girls gave up no more than 10 points in any quarter and defeated Nashua North 47-39 in the Division 1 quarterfinals. Brittany Roche and Tara Burke had 11 and 10 points respectively for the Lancers (20-2), who face Manchester Central Monday at 6 p.m. at Southern New Hampshire University.

Berube dominates

 

Londonderry junior Ashley Berube poured in a season-high 26 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as the Lancers held off Nashua North 46-43, ending the regular season with a 16- record heading into next week's Division 1 tournament.

Jackie Luckhardt recorded a double-double (12 points, 10 assists) while Ashley Berube (14 points 10 rebounds) did the same.

Deja vu Lancers

Reminiscent of last year's state final, Londonderry handed Bedford its first loss, 46-28.
Ashley Berube came up huge with 16 points, 8 rebounds and three blocks. Jackie Luckhardt had eight points and carved up the defense for seven assists. Kelsey Coffey had eight points before leaving with an ankle injury midway through the third quarter.
The two are now tied for first at 7-1 in Division 1.

In a rematch of last year's state final, Bedford's Jenoyce Langan scored with four seconds left to beat defending champ Londonderry 53-52. The Lancers led by 10 with about six minutes left. Kelsey Coffey had 27 points (4 3's) and Ashley Berube 13 points in the loss.
