Timberlane's wrestling team rallied from a 22-6 deficit to defeat Concord 40-28 to end yet another season undefeated in New Hampshire. It was the Owls' 110th straight dual-meet win in the Granite State.

Split for Astros

 

Pinkerton thumped Bishop Guertin 46-18 but fell to host Concord 45-30 in a tri-meet.  Shayne McCann won twice at 120 and Dylan Barreiro remained unbeaten at 195, raising his record to 31-0. McCann currently is 34-1.

Astros come in 4th

 

Pinkerton had three champions crowned on its way to finishing fourth at the Capital Classic in Concord, which was won by Bishop Hendricken, R.I.

Placing first for the Astros were Shayne McCann (113), Tyler Wilson (160) and undefeated Dylan Barreiro (195). Joey Lydick (220) and Deene Hill (285) both came in third.

Avenges loss

 

Salem's Mike Burke, wrestling at 145, avenged an earlier loss to Concord standout Chris Munnel with a 9-5 decision. Ryan Cote had a pin for the Blue Devils at 120, but Concord prevailed, 43-17.

Londonderry prevails

 

Londonderry's unbeaten wrestling team survived its first serious test, edging Concord 33-32. Trailing 32-19, the Lancers won their last three matches on pins by Craig Santos and Tyler Byrd and a decision by Ryan Cabezas. Earlier, Jake Barr recorded a pivotal 9-7 decision at 152.

Windham splits

 

Sam Cavallaro, Peter Caron and Vinnie Marino all won both matches at the start of the lineup but that wasn't enough for Windham, which settled for a split, whipping Campbell (53-27) but falling to Division 1 poer Concord (46-24).
