North Reading's rebuilding boys basketball team won its third straight game, 59-40 over Masconomet. The Hornets (4-4) had seven 3-pointers in the first half from Justin Dorosh and Derek Hogan, including five in the second quarter when North Reading pulled away with a 24-7 frame. Dorosh finished with 19 points, one more than Hogan.

North Reading's boys basketball team won its third game in the last four, 50-38 over Saugus. John Fitzgerald, who had eight rebounds, scored 10 of his 14 points in the pivotal third quarter and sophomore point guard Justin Dorosh added 14 points.
