Michaela Kane (20 saves) was flawless in net and Katherine Capobianco scored in the first period as Haverhill-Pentucket-North Andover blanked Central Catholic 1-0.

Kelly Golini, an eighth grader, recorded a hat trick and Amanda Conway added two goals and two assists as Methuen/Tewksbury rolled 5-0 over Haverhill in girls hockey. 

Michaela Kane had 46 saves to help the Haverhill/North Andover/Pentucket girls hockey team salvage a 1-1 tie against Concord-Carlisle. She stopped two breakaways.

HAVERHILL — The name of the first-year program might be so bulky it's forced to use an acronym and a quick look at the girls on the roster leaves one wondering who's old enough to do the driving, but the Haverhill/Pentucket/North Andover hockey squad has proven more than capable on the ice.

Amanda Conway scored all four goals to pace the Methuen-Tewksbury girls over Haverhill/North Andover/Pentucket 4-0.

Haverhill-Pentucket-North Andover girls hockey won its first ever game, downing Wayland 4-1. Emily Galligan scored the first goal in program history and Kim Carroll added two goals and two assists for H-P-NA.
