Key Lancers' wins

 

Londonderry's wrestling team won several key matches on its way to a 40-25 victory over rival Pinkerton. Ryan Cabezas took a 7-4 victory over freshman standout Shayne McCann at 113 for the Lancers (14-1) and Sebastian Roszczenko defeated Morris Hunter 3-1 at 182.

Londonderry rips Concord

 

Londonderry defeated Concord for the first time in recent memory, and in convincing fashion, 47-24. The Lancers were tough in the upper middle weights as Jon Young and Will Bean had first period pins at 152 and 160 respectively and Kyle Byrd followed with a makor decision at 170. Jean-Luc Lemieux remained unbeaten with a pin at 132.

Londonderry rolls again

 

Londonderry continued to roll in its rournament tour around New Hampshire, rolling to first at the Winnacunnet Tournament. Taking individual crowns were Mitch Rose (120), Jean-Luc-Lemieux (132) and Will Bean (160) while Ryan Cabezas (132), jake Barr (145), Jon Young (152), Sebastian Roszczenko (182), Richard Bilodeau (195) and Mahdi Achab (220) all came in second.

Londonderry's wrestling team recorded an impressive 47-30 victory over a solid Nashua North squad. The Lancers had five pins, including four in the first period, and got a key overtime decision from much improved Sebastien Roszczenko at 182.

Londonderry rolls at Keene tournament

 

Londonderry is showing good staying power as one of the new premier teams in the region.

The Lancers won their third tournament of the year yesterday, rolling to 254 1/2 points to take first at the 25-team Minickiello Memorial Tournament in Keene, comfortably ahead of runner-up Concord (199 1/2).
