The Pentucket girls scored a program record 6,575 points to place 12th out of 31 teams at the state pentathlon. Tyler Feeney led the way, placing 23rd with 2,482 points, and Ali Attenasio and Paige Wesolowski backed her up.

The only two placers at the girls All-States were North Reading's Cole Godskinski (6th hurdles, 8.89) and teammate Emily Murray (7th shot put, 36-6.75)

The top performers at the State Coaches Meet were Haverhill's Samantha Wise (2nd, 1,000) and Kerin Thomas (3rd, 300), Central's Kylie Regan (3rd, mile), Lawrence's Leanna Pham (4th, 1,000) and Methuen's Eladia Cespedes (4th tie, high jump).

North Andover girls track came so, so close to victory at the MSTCA Division II Relays yesterday, finishing in second to Marsfield by just a single point. 

North Andover's Mikayla Guthrie, Deven Fortelli, Mary Lavery and Jenna Smolag combined to win the 4x400 (4:06.74).

Katie McManus set a new school indoor record in the shot put with a 36-1 3/3 to help North Andover best Central Catholic 45-41. Deven Sportelli (600) and Catherine Flaherty (high jump) added the two other Scarlet Knight victories.North Andover prevailed with superior depth overall.
