 Powerhouse Walpole came in at 12-0, but Andover's field hockey team palyed one of its best games of the year to come away with a 2-2 tie. Jacquelyn Leone scored both goals for the Warriors (9-1-3), Weezie Gross had an assist and played outstanding at midfield and goalie Nicole Schena was superb while making 15 saves.

In a battle of two of the top field hockey teams in the region, Andover gave up a goal in the first 29 seconds of the game and then held Chelmsford scoreless in a 1-1 Merrimack Valley Conference tie. Julia LeBlanc scored for the Warriors while Jess and Jackie Leone, Weezy Gross and Emily Gibson all played strong defensive games.
