Tommy Thompson scored twice, and Scott Morrison struck on the power play with less than a minute to go in overtime as Londonderry edged Nashua South 3-2. Joel Willbrant was stellar as well, making 26 saves and stopping two breakaway attempts. The win improved the Lancers to 5-6-2, 3-5-2 in Division 1.

The inexperienced, finesse-minded Lancers, with five freshmen on the roster, were simply overwhelmed by Pinkerton's physical first-period play. After the first, Pinkerton led by a goal but, by the time the game ended, the Astros emerged with a 5-1 victory thanks to some ugly play around the net.
