Sophomore Kayla Riley hurled a complete game two-hitter and also went 3 for 3 with three RBIs and three runs to lead Whittier softball 14-2 over Notre Dame of Tyngsboro.

With the game tied in the seventh inning and the bases loaded, Josie Sanchez blasted a grand slam to give Whittier a 17-13 walkoff victory over Lowell.

"There is no wall, but that was GONE!," said Wildcats coach Cheryl Begin. "That must have been about 280 feet."

Destiny Jordan went 3 for 3, scored three runs and drove in three runs as Whittier softball tripped Minuteman 15-2. Cassey Glode and Josie Sanchez also drove in three runs.
