Andover's boys lacrosse team got 15 players involved in the scorring in a 22-5 rout of Cambridge Rindge & Latin in opening round Division 1 tournament action. Will Reardon led the scoring parade with five goals.

Making a difference

Defenseman Tyler Weeks was "a difference-maker," according to Andover head coach Wayne Puglisi, doing it all in a key 6-5 lacrosse victory over Masconomet. "He was stupendous in our transition game and he grabbed some big ground balls to give us energy and help us win," said Puglisi of Weeks, who assisted Justin Brosnan on the game-winning goal with 6:06 left to play.

Double (OT) trouble

Hunter Tyrrell took the ball behind the net, then fed Justin Brosnan who score with 2:44 left in double overtime to give Andover a 9-8 win over Chelmsford. The Golden Warriors rallied back from a three-goal deficit in the fourth quarter, with Will Reardon scoring the tying goal with 1:54 left in regulation.

Awesome defense

 

 Andover's boys lacrosse team gave up just a goal in the fourth quarter in a 9-1 win over Haverhill. Tyler Weeks, Alex Marshall and Brian Duffy played air-tight defense and goalie Jordan Maue made several fine saves.

Brosnan pumps in five

Justin Brosnan poured in five goals and six other Golden Warriors scored as Andover boys lacrosse won 11-5 over Central Catholic. 

Alex Parent had five goals for Central while Thomas Jenoski added one assist and collected nine groundballs.
