Methuen softball coach Jason Smith won his 100th game as head coach of the Rangers in a 10-1 win over Lawrence. Sophomore Kayleigh Forgetta picked up the win with a five-hitter, striking out six, and freshman Kathleen LeFebre hit a two-run homer.

Amanda Lemire had two doubles in the first inning and Kathleen Lefebre also doubled as Methuen scored nine times in the opening frame in an 18-0, five-inning rout of Pentucket. Both Lemire and Lefebre were 3 for 3 for the Rangers and Chrissy Scionti struck out four while allowing just two hits in the win.
