John Braga jumped 22-2.75 to take first place in the long jump and set a school-recrd in the process. Braga, a junior finished second in the high jump (6-2) and fifth in the 110-hurdles (16.02).  Cam Hastings won the pole valult at 11-0 and finished sixh in the 200-meter (23.63).

Despite only one individual winner — Devon Lattrell, who won the javelin — Central Catholic easily outdistanced the rest of the 21-team field to win the Andover Boosters Track Meet.

North Andover may have won the wars, beating North Reading and Pentucket in boys track, but John Braga was the highlight of yesterday's tri-meet.

North Reading's John Braga scored a whopping four victories, winning the long jump (21-3), high jump (6-2), 110 hurdles (15.7) and the 400 hurdles (59.4) as the Hornets fell just short to Ipswich 75-70. Cam Hastings added wins in the pole vault and 200.
