Missed opportunities proved costly for the No. 4-seed Pinkerton softball team as it was upset by No. 13-seed Exeter, 10-7 in 10 innings. Kasey Marraffa and Natalie Fabrizio had three hits and Fabrizio had three RBIs. 

Pinkerton shortstop Kasey Marraffa got the 100th hit of her career and had two RBIs as the Astros finished the regular season with a 12-6 record, defeating Nashua North 4-0. Faith Robinson pitched a 1-hit gem for the win, striking out five.

Pinkerton exploded for nine runs in the final two innings, turning an 8-3 deficit into a 12-10 victory over Bishop Guertin. Heather Pelletier (solo home run) started a six-run seventh inning with a triple and Natalie Fabrizio (four hits including two triples) delivered the inning's big blow, a two-run triple.

Faith Robinson pitched a one-hit gem as the Pinkerton softball team edged Manchester Central 1-0. Robinson struck out six, didn't walk a batter and gave up only a bloop hit in the seventh. Kasey Marraffa drove in Adrienne Weishaar with the only run in the seventh inning as the Astros (8-5) won their third game of the week.

Pinkerton sophomore Rachel Byrd belted a three-run triple and drove in five runs as the Pinkerton softball team won its second straight, ripping Concord 11-3. Kasey Marraffa and Natalie Fabrizio both scored three runs.

Trailing winless Keene 3-2 after five innings, Pinkerton rallied with a run in the sixth and three in the seventh for a 6-3 victory. Heather Pelletier remained hot with two hits, two runs scored and an RBI.

Heather Pelletier, who struck out her first two at-bats, tied the game with a triple in the seventh and hit a walkoff two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to lift Pinkerton to a wild 10-8 victory over Dover. Winning pitcher Melanie Dusseault was 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Kasey Maraffa had a two-out double in the bottom of the seventh  her third hit of the game to key Pinkerton to a 5-4 comeback victory over Manchester Memorial.
