Windham Jaguars Girls Basketball '11-'12

Windham vs. Bedford at Nashua North Holiday Tourney

Clairee Putnam and Kerry White each had 11 points as Windham outlasted Bedford, 37-34, in the championship game of the Nashua North holiday tourney. 

"We did an exceptional job at playing team defense in this tourney," said Windham head coach Joe Mason. "They (Bedford) were without their best player so we know it would have been a tougher game had she been there."

Windham flattens state champs

Division 2 Windham walloped defending Division 3 state champion Campbell, 51-29, in the Nashua North tourney. Kerry White (12), Kelsey Schiebel (10) and Ashley Adamson (10) hit double figures against previously-unbeaten Campbell. The Cougars were without their leading scorer but the way the Jaguars' defense played it likely wouldn't have mattered.

Well prepared

Windham prepped well for today's girls hoop test against unbeaten defending state champ Campbell, beating Merrimack, 44-23 in the Nashua North Tourney. Ashley Adamson continued her stellar play with 12 points, Kerry White had 4 points and 10 rebounds while Bernadette Connors contributed 6 points, 4 steals and 3 assists.

Division 2 Windham downed Division 1 Alvirne, 50-46, in the Nashua Tourney. Clairee Putnam and Ashley Adamson tossed in 13 apiece for the Jaguars.

With just six healthy varsity players, Windham girls basketball posted a 46-44 victory over Merrimack Valley.

Kerry White scored seven points and added 12 rebounds. Amanda Schiebel had eight points and six steals.

Strong debut

 

Windham's girls zoomed out of the gates, leading Plymouth 29-18 at halftime and 49-24 after three quarters on its way to a 59-41 victory. Kerry White led the way with 16 points.
