Timberlane pushed Bishop Guertin into sudden death last night before falling in the seventh round of penalty kicks, losing a 3-2 decision in the first round of the Division 1 soccer tourney.

Senior midfielder Shannon Desjardins netted her first career goal and it was the game-winner as Timberlane knocked off Manchester Memorial in soccer, 5-0.

According to Timberlane girls soccer coach Jeff Baumann, "If you can shut out Manchester Central, you're doing darn good work." His Owls did just that in a 4-0 victory behind the outstanding efforts of defenders Taylor Ordway, Bridget Beaulieu and Becca Bassi.

Despite feeling sick throughout the game, Emily Barrett was still able to tough it with eight saves as Timberlane bested Nashua South 4-0. Sophomore Rachel Morrier added three goals for the winners.

Ally Mills had the hat trick and sophomore Alicia Ross scored her first career goal as Timberlane girls soccer pounded Nashua North 8-1.

Ally Mills scored two minutes into the first overtime to give Timberlane a 4-3 soccer win over Winnacunnet. It was the Owls' fourth OT game already this season. Bridget Beaulieu scored and did a fine job on defense.

A pair of strong bench performances drove Timberlane to its 4-0 soccer victory over Alvirne.

"(Sophomore) Alicia Ross gave us some quality minutes up front off the bench," said coach Jeff Baumann. "She gave us energy and aggressiveness. She really sparked us."

Emily Barrett stopped eight shots as the sophomore keeper helped Timberlane post a 3-0 victory over Keene.

Emily Jackson took a long feed in the penalty area and potted the game-winner as Timberlane won a thrilling 2-1 overtime soccer battle with Hollis-Brookline. Meghan Jackson, Emily's sister, joined with Allie Mills to provide key contributions to the victory.
