North Andover boys tennis ended its regular season on a high note yesterday, winning its fifth straight match with a 5-0 victory over North Reading. 

Alex Hammond won his No. 3 singles match 6-0, 6-0.

Ryan Barrows has reveled in his move to third singles, winning six straight matches including yesterday's, the deciding point in North Reading's 3-2 win over Lynnfield.

Ryan Swanson, Pat Dahn and the doubles team of Nick Giannino and B.G. Smith all remained unbeaten as Pentucket's tennis team prevailed over North Reading, 4-1. After losing their first match, Nate Eames and Brandon Conn won their seventh straight match for the Sachems.

North Reading's first doubles team of Patrick Rubin and Kyle Harris improved to 8-0 with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Wilmington.

Freshman Chris Harrow earned his fist ever victory at No. 1 as North Reading boys tennis won 5-0 over Amesbury. He battled back after losing the first set 0-6. 

North Reading boys tennis players Patrick Rubin and Kyle Harris won their No. 1 doubles match, 6-0, 6-2, against a pair from Triton to improve to 6-0 this season as the Hornets were victorious 4-1.

Kyle Harris and Patrick Rubin battled two hours to prevail in first singles, winning the third set 7-5, and tipping the scale in North Reading's direction for a 3-2 victory over Austin Prep. The pair remain unbeaten at 5-0 on the year.

North Andover's Andrew Smith and Kyle White earned three straight victories to take the title at No. 2 doubles as the Scarlet Knights earned second as a team at the Cape Ann League Open. Pentucket took first as a team.
