Moore offense, more defense

A two-out, two-run single from sophomore Jeff Moore ignited the Georgetown offense and led to a big 9-2 victory over East Boston. The visitors loaded the bases with one out in the fourth inning, but pitcher Ryan O'Rourke threw to shortstop Ryan Browner to pick off the runner at second, then Browner rifled the ball to catcher Mark Berkland and nailed the runner trying to score from third.

Wins are never ugly

Both teams had their issues, but Georgetown was able to convert Manchester Essex's miscues into runs in an 8-3 victory. Amongst a spate of wild pitches and errors, Ryan Browner had a key RBI single as part of the Royals' breakthrough four-run fourth inning.

Ingraham's hit paces Georgetown

Will Ingraham's bases-loaded , two-RBI single ignited a six-run Georgetown rally in the second inning as the Royals opened the season with a 9-8 win over Lynn Classical. Jared Lathrop (2 for 4) followed with a two-run double and Ryan Browner pitched a complete game to earn the win.
