1.Central Catholic (6-0): The return of Adrian Gonzalez to the lineup makes the Raiders again the team to shoot for in Division 1 North.

2.Andover (6-2): Both losses come at the hands of Central. The Warriors will get one, possibly two more shots.

3.Salem, NH (6-1): The disappointing Greater Lawrence Christmas Tournament now behind them, E.J. Perry’s club is the team everyone is gunning for in New Hampshire Class L.

4.North Reading (6-0): The tougher road lies ahead, but thus far coach Joe Casey’s crew has answered every call.

5.Masconomet (5-2): After losing two straight to begin the season, the Masco Chieftains have won five straight games, beating Hamilton-Wenham, Triton (twice), Rockport and Danvers.

6.Pelham (7-3): The home streak is now over, but there aren’t many teams looking to run with Pelham in Class I, with its high-powered backcourt of Ricky Costa and Justin Hojlo.

7.Londonderry (4-3): With Ryan Griffin still getting used to his new hoop mates, you have to figure the Lancers are better than their recent 20-point loss at Salem.

8.North Andover (5-3): There is no truth to the rumor that the Knights are looking in Phil Jackson’s triangle offense for the talented trio of Steve Boudreau, Sean McManus and Hayden Yeazel.

9.Newburyport (5-3): Coach Tom L’Italien’s club is back to full strength.

10.Brooks (6-2): High-scoring Alex Skinner has the Brooks attack in high gear.

Masco 5th? are you kidding me? They are a joke playing in the joke CAL league. They got blown out by wilmington and NA (who for some reason is behind them after only losing to wilm. Central and Salem NH) Beating HW one winned Triton twice, winless rockport, and soft NEC team Danvers. What a joke. You dont even have to show up to beat those teams. What a disgrace and a slap in the face to other programs around the area to have masco represented as the 5th best team in the area. That just goes to show that this site has no idea what goes on at the games, they just look at the box scores. What a freaking joke

this is honestly the most retarded rankings ive ever seen in my life. whoever made this list should be absolutely ashamed. Masco beats danvers by 7, while 6 teams in the nec have beaten danvers by 20+ and not a single one is on the list?

masco is nasty. big cleve eats people, sean bone knocks down 3s all day long, treed just does what treed wants to do, chris splinter is just better than you, jd just has a passion for the game like no other, steve sylvia earned the nickname crazy legs, and nobody has crowds show up to the games like the masco bball faithfull.
