Paradis sets school record

Alec Paradis scored three goals as Pelham went on to win its soccer game by a score of 4-2 over Pembroke. Paradis now holds a school record for most goals in a season with 17, a record that has stood since 1992.

Pythons break through

Courtney Parese scored in the first half and Pelham's defense stiffened in the second half, earning the Pythons their first win of the season, 1-0 over Pembroke. Parese scored 12 1/2 minutes into play when she battled a crowd for the rebound of Madison Giordino's penalty corner shot and found the back of the net. From there, excellent defensive efforts from Becca DeBaldo, Kim Polcari and Shana Schaffer both shut down Pembroke's attack and allowed Pelham's forwards to play more aggressively.
