It was a good day for Samantha Valentine of Phillips, who broke the course record at Northfield Mount Hermon with a time of 18:29. Anoush Shehadeh set the old mark of 18:47 in 2014. Phillips also won the event thanks to good times from Michaela Jones (19:32) and Alisa Crueger-Cain (21:47).

Holes hurt Brooks

 

Missing two key starters, including Andover's Jackson Quinn who recently broke his leg in a skiing accident, Brooks fell to Phillips Exeter 48-25 after beating both St. Paul's and Northfield Mount Hermon to improve to 9-4. North Andover's Nick Konovalchik, Jake Gottfried and Owen Rosenberger all remained unbeaten on the year.

The Phillips Academy girls cross country team, which was unbeaten last year, remained undefeated this year (4-0) with a 15-48 win over Northfield Mount Hermon. Alana Gudinas, who placed sixth, broke 21 minutes for the first time.
