Another Andover shutout

Andover's boys hockey team shut out Waltham for the third time this year, 1-0 in the Division 1 North first round. Caeden Dillman scored the only goal with nine seconds left in the second period on an assist from Michael Reilly. Zach laramie had 19 saves for the Warriors (13-5-2), who face Reading Saturday at a time and place to be determined.

Sophomore defenseman Matthew Belluche scored his first varsity goal and Zach Laramie (20 saves) posted another shutout as Andover downed Waltham 4-0. Michael Reilly contribted two goals and an assist.

Central Catholic goalie Matt Pasquale got in on the scoring action Wednesday night, recording an assist in the team's 3-0 win over Waltham. The freshman also had 14 saves in the shutout effort.

Andover's hockey team handed Waltham its first loss of the season, 2-0. Dale Berman and Jeff Hunt scored for the Warriors (2-3-2) and Zach Laramie had 19 saves to notch his first shutout. Andover outshot Waltham 38-19.

The Haverhill-North Andover girls hockey team scored four times in the second period to rip Waltham 5-1. Rebecca Harty scored twice for the Hillies while Jess Chicko and Andrea Albano both had a goal and an assist.

WALTHAM — The Hillies faced probably their toughest oppenent of the season on Friday night; I-95 during the five o'clock commute.

Despite being hampered by traffic and a slew of injuries, Haverhill was able to muster a 14-7 victory over the Waltham Hawks.

After a slow first half, Matt Moody (7 goals on the day) owned the second half and North Andover dumped Waltham, 16-9, in a Division 1 North first round game.

"It just started to click for him," said coach Ryan Connolly. "And our defense, led by Adam Carito, Joe Samuelman, Jake Manning and Matt Cho, has been great all year and was again."
