Lewy Baez (182) and Mando Binet (195) continued their fine seasons with a pair of wins as Central Catholic rolled over Beverly and Concord-Carlisle to improve to 15-1.

Freshman Ben Davoli began his career at Haverhill with a pair of pins at 106 as Haverhill opened its season with a sweep of Arlington and Marlboro. Steven Wise and Jake Nicolosi were 2-0 at 138 and 145 respectively.

Emmett Kim sank five of Andover's nine 3-pointers and poured in 24 points as Andover held off Marlboro 53-52 to finish the regular season with an 11-9 record.

Central Catholic had no trouble sweeping a quad-meet, its toughest challenge coming from Beverly (46-29)Six different Raiders were 3-0 on the day, including rapidly improving Greg Spero (113) and Nate Vachon (120).

Triton wrestling's Jared Durkin and Anthony Ostrander each placed second at the Marlboro Tournament on Saturday, helping the Vikings to an eight place finish as a team. Durkin wrestled at 138 pounds, Ostrander at 160, and other placers included Sam Orender (third at 182), Robi Ullah (fourth at 106) and Ethan Tremblay (fifth at 145).

Haverhill wrestling had a great start to the season, sweeping its quad-meet with Arlington, Marlborough and Acton-Boxboro while getting contributions from unlikely places. Jake Nicolosi chief among them. The sophomore 138-pounder went 3-0 on the day, and beat a returning Arlington senior who placed at states last year. Ron Fuller, Devin Smith and Ryan McCartney also went undefeated for the Hillies.

Adrian Polanco pinned two returning sectional place winners to pace North Andover to a rout of Marlboro and a tie with Ashland. Ryan McDonald also had a great match for the Knights (12-6-1).

Cam Hebert, Jake Garland and Jackson Clark were all 2-0 in the middle of Central Catholic's lineup as the Raiders remained unbeaten (16-0) with wins over Beverly 46-27 and Concord-Carlisle 65-14.

North Andover may be short in numbers but the Knights are not lacking in talent as they showed Sdaturday by finishing a strong second at the Wilmington tournament, just 13 points behind Shawsheen.

Senior Brooks Robinson had a pivotal 7-5 decision at 152 for North Andover, which nudged past Marlboro 40-33. Also for the Knights, junior heavyweight Isaiah Metheny had a key 6-4 win as North Andover improved to 11-9-1.
