Angie Nunez poured in 22 points and ripped down 10 rebounds as Notre Dame of Lawrence downed Mystic Valley, 47-39. Kira Torres had five steals to go along with her six points and Jessica Brito added nine points, four blocks and six rebounds for Notre Dame (4-2).

Angie Nunez scored eight points during a 9-0 game-ending run that propelled Notre Dame of Lawrence to a 35-32 win over Northeast. Nunez had 17 points and had five steals. Jessica Brito had eight rebounds and three blocks.

Finishing within 21 seconds of each other, Danielle Silva, Julia Splaine and Taylor Hume drove PMA to a convincing 18-40 victory over Notre Dame Academy.

High 5 for Anderson

Casey Anderson didn't settle for a run-of-the-mill hat trick. The Haverhill soccer scoring machine scored five goals, four in the second half, as the Hillies roughed up overmatched Notre Dame of Tyngsboro. It was only 2-1 at the half then Anderson heated up for her 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th goals of the season. "She's just an outstanding goal-scorer. They were all pretty goals," said Hillie coach Fred Tarbox.

Hannah Davis had nine kills, four aces and a block but Haverhill fell on the short end of a 25-16, 25-14, 20-25, 25-18 decision to Notre Dame. Jill Aramian had six kills and Kately Demers added 19 assists.
