The Haverhill/Pentucket/North Andover hockey team captured its third straight lopsided victory, 9-1 over Beverly. Led by Reese Pascucci's two goals, eight different players scored for HPNA (12-0-2), which has outscored its last three opponents 24-1.

Heather Graham had two goals, Lily Farnham had a goal and an assist and Olivia Beucler had two assists as Andover (8-2-2) cruised past Beverly 3-0 in field hockey.

Maddie DiPietro had four goals and Meghan Ferris (4 saves) and Alexis DeMattia (3 saves) combined for the shutout as Central field hockey blanked Beverly, 5-0.

Adam Heinze scored twice as North Andover cruised past Beverly 5-0. Jack Walsh made 17 saves for the Scarlet Knights' fourth consecutive shutout. 

Lewy Baez (182) and Mando Binet (195) continued their fine seasons with a pair of wins as Central Catholic rolled over Beverly and Concord-Carlisle to improve to 15-1.

Short-handed North Andover still won five times in a six-team meet to improve to 11-2 on the year. Joey Valentino remained unbeaten with five wins and Carson Milovanovic and Ethan Ford and Michael Coles were also perfect on the day. Greater Lawrence was 2-3 on the day.

The Masconomet girls hockey co-op buried Beverly-Danvers in its opener on Saturday, drubbing the home team 12-1 behind a comprehensive offensive effort. Mikayla Vincent recored a hat trick plus an assist, Isabel Hulse had two goals (including her first career goal) along with three assists, and Abby Gendron added two goals and an assist. Ellie Turgeon, Brooke Rogers, Cali Caponigro and Sophia Grutti all scored their first career goals as well.

Newburyport girls tennis won its opener in a rout on Thursday, beating Beverly 5-0 on the road. Emilie DeKanter dominated at first singles to win 6-0, 6-0, Sophie Page and Ann DeKanter both won easily at second and third singles, and the doubles pairs of Meredith Vartabedian and Emma Filipancic, as well as River Sava and Molly Page, won in straight sets at doubles too.

Jenna Hubbard made 14 saves for her third straight shutout in HPNA's 4-0 win over Beverly/Danvers. Rebecca Hardy and Brooke Rodgers each had a goal and an assist.

Junior forward Emma Gilmartin tallied a hat-trick for Andover, as the Warriors earned a 4-0 win over Beverly in the Colleen Ritzer Memorial Game. Junior defenseman Madeline McLean was a standout on defense, keeping goalie Sean D'Urso to only 10 shots on net.
