Last year's record: 16-4-0
Coach: Lori Escolas (8th year) Returning starters: Kathleen Dolan, Sr. defense; Erika Digiacomo, Jr. forward; Alyssa Manoogian, Jr. midfield; Caitlin Pinkham, Jr. midfield; Lauren Ward, Sr. midfield; Linda Vitale, Sr. midfield.
Strengths: The team returned in excellent condition. There are only three spots to fill, with 13 lettermen back. Others who had key minutes were junior defender Lindsey Elwell, senior defender Stephanie Fodera and junior forward Amanda Lowry. All-league returnees are Manoogian (18 goals, 15 assists who was also All-State), Digiacomo (21-11-32) and Pinkham.
Concerns: The Tanners need to work on outside defense and get more people involved in scoring after losing Justine Hartigan (91 goals, 42 assists in her career) to Alabama-Birmingham.
Coach's outlook: "I feel we're a much more rounded team this year. Plus, we've got a veteran goalie in (senior) Amy Perkins. We're pretty solid all the way through and looking forward to the NEC."
