Londonderry’s C.J. Flanders hit a two-run shot and Alvirne committed two costly errors in a seven-run fifth inning as the Lancers toasted Alvirne 13-3 in a mercy-ruled win on Saturday in the Class L quarterfinals.

Lancers ace Kasey Carollo made the win an easy one a he struck out 11 with no walks and just four hits.
Londonderry freshman Jake Cassidy cranked a three-run triple to end the game in the sixth inning due to the mercy rule.

Londonderry advances to the semifinals to face No. 7 Keene at Holman Stadium on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
