Andover held off New Bedford, 46-44, to repeat as the Class A Relays. New Bedford almost tied up the Golden Warriors but the Whalers took third in the high jump and Andover held on. Adam Vetere was a double winner (4x400, 4x800). Connor O'Neill, Kerrick Stevens and the victorious 4x800 team of Scott Waller, Simon Voorhees, Chris Goodwin and Vetere turned in a stellar effort to take that event.
Methuen's distance runners brought their A game with a school record 17:59.18 clocking by Cam Kelley, Andrew Stamatopulos, Ben Pare and Jared Reddy. Not to be outdone, the distance medley team of Ben Pare, Steve Lilja, Stamatopulos and Reddy won going away as Reddy brought it home with a fine 4:26 final 1,600 meters.
