Pentucket's Alanna Poretta placed first in the miile (5:03.51) to break her own school record at the Division III state track meet at the Reggie Lewis Center.
Poretta also qualified for Nike National meet.
Pentucket's 4X800 relay team, of Kelsey Pratt, Amy Babeu, Rebecca Morse and Poretta, placed sixth (10:12.37).
Meanwhile, Pentucket was awarded the Joan Doherty MIAA/MSTCA Team Sportsmanship award.
"This was an excellent meet for us, just about everyone placed higher than what they were seeded," coach Steve Derro wrote in an e-mail. "For the girls to be awarded the MIAA/MSTCA Team Sportsmanship award is a tremendous honor for them and I couldn't be any more proud of the girls."
