Returning starters: Derek Osmond, Sr., forward; Eric Juncker, Sr., midfield; Ross Brackett, Sr., sweeper; Colby Osier, Sr., goalie; Tom Carbone, Sr., midfielder/defense; Florian Roell, Sr., midfield; Bobby Tibert, Sr., midfield
Strengths: The Vikings are a senior-sophomore dominated team and should benefit from leadership from the seniors and energy from the sophomores. The younger players are talented and should contribute right away, while the seniors are playing up to the level that they need to play.
Concerns: Rockport will need to stay healthy because tryout numbers were down from last year. The Cape Ann League can be very physical and the Rockport players will be put to the test.
Coach's outlook: "Our goal is to get better every single game. I am cautiously optimistic, but graduating 11 seniors may make it a rebuilding year. I'm very pleased with the effort and the attitude and I think we'll compete with everyone."
