It was an excruciating 9-1 loss for Pelham and coach Amy Alfaro. After losing a player to what might be a severe knee injury, Alfaro had to head to the hospital when goalie Gina Grimes cut her head on the post. Kayla Soares had the lone goal for the Pythons in the loss.
