Farley kids keep bragging rights

Brothers Craig and Scott Farley helped Haverhill's golf squad defeated their father and North Andover coach Peter Farley, 12-8.

Craig halved an entertaining No. 1 match against the Scarlet Knights' Dan Daley and No. 5 Scott won, 5 and 4.

John Boyle (4 and 3 at No. 3) and Nick DePace (3 and 2 at No. 4) were the winners for the Scarlet Knights (3-1). 

"There's been a lot of talk going on for a week now," Peter Farley said with a chuckle. "(Craig and Scott) have the bragging rights now and they were trash talking on the way home from the match."

Farley started scheduling the non-league match when his oldest son started playing varsity for the Hillies. Haverhill now has won the last two of the three matches played to date.
