No. 1 singles Karena Webber (1-6, 6-3, 6-3), No. 2 singles Rachael Downey (6-1, 5-7, 6-3), and No. 2 doubles Amy Dickinson and Erica McKey (fault) all won for Pentucket in perhaps the Sachems biggest win of the year over a very good North Andover team.
Coach Laurie Dunnet said the match came down to the first and second singles players in which Webber stayed consistent and had a very strong serve, while Downey stepped up the pace after a tough second set to win a difficult final set.
