After a slow start in the first 12 minutes, coach Catherine Batchelder said her team could not climb out of the hole despite outscoring and outplaing Wilmington over the final 48 minutes. Batchelder also said her defense played realy well including Taylor Whitehill, Mackenzie Maguire, and goalie Lilly Galzareno (13 saves).
Laura Fallon had five goals, Chelsea Roberts had four goals, Molly Scully had a goal and an assist, Haley Johnson had a goal, and Chloe Hundertmark had an assist for the Clippers.
