At the 40th Annual Dartmouth Relays in Hanover, Salem sophomore Melissa Higgins won the 300 meter dash with a time of 41.50. Higgins bested a field of over 70 runners from all over New England as she blew away the competition, beating the next best runner by 1.49 seconds and setting a new Salem High School record in the event.
Timberlane had two placers as senior Lindsey Patterson finished second in the pole vault with aault of 11-6 and Katherine Grzejka took fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 35-0.
