Bob DiSorbo and goalie Andrew Mueskes could both lay laim to being Mr. Clutch as the Pentucket hockey team defeated Saugus 4-3 in a shootout in the opening game of the Newburyport Bank Tournament.
With the score tied 3-3 after regulation, DiSorbo scored the only goal in the shootout and Mueskes stopped all five Saugus shots. DiSorbo scored three goals overall and had an assist while Mueskes made 21 saves. Anthony Pagliarulo also had a goal and an assist and John Gavin added two assists.
Pentucket will face Shawsheen in the tourney finals Wednesday at 7 p.m.
