The Haverhill boys swim team improved to 3-3 with a 91-79 victory over Central Catholic. The Hillies took first in eight of 11 events.
Mike Carbone, Mark Lalli, Tom Franklin and Tony Lekani placed first in both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Franklin also claimed the top spot in both the 100 butterfly (1:00.19) and 500 freestyle (5:37.72), as did Lalli in the 50 freestyle (25.00) and 100 freestyle (55.84), and Carbone in the 200 IM (2:19.79).
"The relay teams, and the individual efforts of the guys on those teams, were the biggest reason we did well," coach George Nigro said.
