Quirnbach helps Andover stay perfect

Andover ran its record to a perfect 5-0 after edging Central Catholic, 143.50-140.75. Jenn Quirnbach won the All-Around with a 37.0, edging Central Catholic's Shilanna Gallo (36.7), who had won all All-Around competitions this year. Gallo did win the vault with a 9.4 as well as the bars. Quirnbach finished first in the beam and floor.

Quirnbach finished third in the vault with a 9.35, breaking the Andover school record of 9.3. She also broke the previous Andover Beam record of 9.4.

"This is the best all-around team that I have had in my three years," said Andover head coach Kristen Vadala. Scoring a 143 twice this week is two points greater than we have scored in the last three years."
