Andover freshman Rachel Moore is already making history.
She broke two Merrimack Valley Conference large meet records, smashing marks set by Golden Warrior great Connie Brown. Moore won the 100 backstroke (57.54) — Brown's previous mark was 57.99 in 2002 — and the 100 butterfly (59.96) — Brown's previous mark was 57.15 in 2000.
Chelmsford, however, prevailed, ending a string of eight straight MVC meet titles for Andover.
Haverhill's Amy Fay won the 500 freestyle (5:06.72) and fellow Hillie Nikki Mazurenko finished second in the 50 freestyle (25.37). Central Catholic's Hannah Mitchell finished third in the 200 freestyle (2:01.22).
