Govs' Block sisters two much for Rivers School

The Governor's Academy beat the Rivers School on Wednesday, 2-0, improving their record to 6-1-1, and winning their second game in a row. Linley Block had a goal and an assist, Becca Block had a goal, and Kelly Lavallee dished out the game's first helper. Erin Quinlan recorded her fifth shutout of the season.
"Both teams worked hard, and though Rivers presented threats in both halves," said Govs coach Roberta McLain, "every effort was stopped by the Governor's defense, anchored by Quinlan."
