KINGSTON — Sanborn didn't just beat Gilford Saturday afteroon, the Indians stunned the entire state with a convincing 24-0 win.
Sophomore Jackson Paradis led the offense yet again for the Indians (2-6), rushing for 133 yards on 24 carries with a touchdown while also hauling in a 60-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Sarette. Ben Giles also had a touchdown, and Austin Kalinowski drilled a 34-yard field goal as the Indians led 17-0 at half and 24-0 after three quarters.
Gilford (4-4) couldn't get anything going offensively. Sophomore Tavante Thornton led the Sanborn defense with five sacks.
The Indians will be at ConVal on Friday for a 7 p.m. kickoff in their regular season finale.
