PELHAM — Brett Lindsay was simply unstoppable Friday night.
The senior captain carried the rock 26 times for a remarkable 288 yards and five touchdowns to lead Pelham to a season-ending 47-26 romp of Manchester West. In total, the Pythons had 376 yards on 34 carries (11.1 yards per carry)
"I thought we did a very effective job in the rushing game and made big plays when we had to," said Pelham coach Tom Babaian. "Manchester West was a tough opponent, they played us extremely tough."
Pelham (5-4) put up 28 points in the second quarter to blow the game open and take a 35-12 lead at the half.
