With the score knotted at 1-1 at the end of regulation, Timberlane had a lot of work to do to earn its first victory of the season. Luckily for the Owls, Kevin Zambrano was up to the challenge.
"They rang one off our cross bar then Zambrano came back the other way on a breakaway and got the goal in the 99th minute," said coach Bill Mealey. "It's the first time we've been able to score more than one goal in a game, so it was great to get the win."
Doug Robichaud scored Timberlane's other goal and was assisted by Josh Patten. Nick Dow recorded five saves in his first varsity game at goalkeeper.
