Triton (6-4-7) clinched a state tournament berth with the victory. Amesbury coach Brett Manoloff felt the Vikings defense was the key.
Justin Paquette had two goals, Evan Schwartz had a goal, Collin Smith had an assist, and Ed Hargreaves had an assist for the Vikings.
"It's not like we sat back on our heels," Manoloff said. "We just couldn't find the net."
