With just under four minutes to play, Andover field hockey's Kate Gregory drew the deciding corner that led to freshman's Hanna Medwar's game-winning goal. The tally gave the Warriors (13-0-1) a massive, 1-0, win over defending Division 1 champions Walpole (9-1-2), which suffered its first loss of the season.
Emma Farnham, Jordan Torres and Gabby Vacarro played well on the back end to help goalie Julia Gordon (6 saves) earn the shutout.
"This was huge for us," said Andover coach Maureen Noone.
