WINDHAM — It's not often that a team scores an entire game's worth of points in just 12 minutes.
But that was the case Saturday afternoon, as Windham scored an incredible 41 points in the first quarter to cruise to a commanding 47-7 victory over ConVal.
Windham finished its regular season 8-0.
Jake Aleksa scored just a minute into the game on Saturday when he caught a 37-yard pass from Cody Potter. Just 72 seconds later, Tommy Emrick broke a 58-yard touchdown run and the rout was on.
Royce Belsky added a 20-yard run, Thomas Splagounias caught a 29-yard pass from Potter, Cody Stevens returned an interception 18 yards and Aleksa scored again on a 19-yard run to cap off the incredible quarter for Windham.
Kicker Christopher Burke was a perfect 5-for-5 kicking PAT's, and he also made field goals from 20- and 37-yards out.
The Jaguars will be the top seed in the Division 2 South playoffs.
