North Andover may be short in numbers but the Knights are not lacking in talent as they showed Sdaturday by finishing a strong second at the Wilmington tournament, just 13 points behind Shawsheen.

The Knights finished the tournament with three champions as Joey Valentino (120), Jack Perry (126) and C.J. Cincotta (160) all won their weight classes.Perry and Cincotta, who was seeded third, had major decisions in the finals.

Three points back of the Knioghts in third was Central Catholic, which also crowned three champs in 106-pouynder Tyler Glynn, 132-pounder Joey Sanchez and heavyweight Carlos Cabrera, who pinned his way through the tournament.

Sanchez had an impressive decision in the finals over Ben Bliss of Mount Mansfield (Vt.). Bliss had beaten him at New England last year and is already committed to Division 1 Bucknell. Also, Cam Hebert placed second for the Raiders at 138.

For Haverhill, which placed fourth, Ryan McCartney was a surprise runner-up at 220. The Hillies had a strong consolation finals round as four wrestlers finished third.
