Coach Jeff Baumann said Timberlane had two or three 3- pointers which wouldn't fall in the final 30 seconds and No. 8 Goffstown ousted No. 9 Timberlane 45-42 in the Division 2 first round. Bob Horgan scored 11 points and Drew Siemering 10 for the Owls.
Goffstown won the regular-season matchup in OT.
Baumann said, "It was a 1-2 possession game the whole way. We had a hard time scoring. I think we were 14 of 41 (from the floor)."
